My art induces escapism but with a familiarity that makes the audience feel at home. My work is bold, it does not make anyone leave with no reaction at all. There is often a sense of dead brothers in my work as anytime I pull from personal empierces my brother being shot to death often plays in my mind. The characters in my work often want to escape their mundane life to achieve greatness and to go on a spontaneous adventure. My work often requires a sense of believability with the world it thrusts you in. It does not explain to you the world you're in . It trusts you to accept it and join the ride. My stories are not bound to one language they have been told through song, digital cameras, super 8 film and on the stage.
